acation
rental units on the Jersey Shore are hot commodities that get snapped
up long before the season begins. Return visitors often make next
years reservations before their current vacation ends, so some units
don't even make it to market. The reservation activity starts picking
up in January with many of the best, or lower cost, destinations
filled by the end of February or earlier. It's best to get your
flip-flops in gear and start planning on the week and destination
you'd like right after the first of the year and consider making
reservations shortly thereafter.
The resources have been broken down by
county, with Cape May and Ocean Counties having the lions share of the available
rentals and agency locations. There will be some overlap by those agencies into
the Monmouth and Atlantic County pages.
Most of the Realtor sites
contain search engines, allowing you to input your criteria such as:
number of people, price range, and the weeks you're interested in. Also included
are a list of the more popular towns, regional maps, and attractions.
