Ocean's Eleven

The critics said "why" to the Ocean's 11 remake and to a degree they're right, the original is well-made and very enjoyable. But it is fun to see the current equivalent of the "Rat Pack" in the new version.

Thomas Crown Affair

Both versions are enjoyable, with a slight nod to the new version for the excellent interaction between Brosnan and Russo. Interestingly, Faye Dunaway played McQueen's love interest in the original and Brosnan's shrink in the remake.
